Everything Search

search external files by name quickly for sublime-text 2 in windows.

Overview ##

I work on Windows but there is less great tools to find files by name quickly.

I am using an tool called “Everything” and want it integrate with excellent sublime test2.

With this plugin I can search files by name quickly in sublime2!

Install:

  • Download Everything and Everything command from http://www.voidtools.com/
  • Set es.exe are present in the system path. This can be verified by running. es --help
  • Sublime2 should run as administrator if in windows7

Usage:

press Ctrl+alt+f to find external files by name (support basic POSIX regular expression) double click left mouse button or Ctrl+alt+g open selected result
