Preference Helper

A simple plugin to help to editing Sublime 2/3 sublime-settings files; you can toggle between user and base settings as well as open any preference file with your keybord.

Usage

  • super+shift+, on OSX or ctrl+shift+, on Windows/Linux shows a quick panel with all available sublime-settings files, you can filter and open one from here.

  • super+alt+up on OSX or alt+o on Windows/Linux toggles between the user and default sublime-settings file

  • super+shift+; on OSX or ctrl+shift+; on Windows/Linux completes the value of the current key with the initial value of the default sublime-setting.

Installation

Using Package Control:

  • Bring up the Command Palette (Command+Shift+P on OS X, Control+Shift+P on Linux/Windows).
  • Select Package Control: Install Package.
  • Select Preference Helper to install.

Not using Package Control:

  • Save files to the Packages/Preference Helper directory, then relaunch Sublime:
    • Linux: ~/.config/sublime-text-2|3/Packages/Preference Helper
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 2|3/Packages/Preference Helper
    • Windows: %APPDATA%/Sublime Text 2|3/Packages/Preference Helper
